Mission and Vision

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. "
Matthew 28:19-20

Our Mission

The mission of Grace Community Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who know Him and love as He loved.

Our VISION

How do we make disciples? At Grace, we believe disciples are created and developed when we as a church work together to share God's gospel and live out the "one another's" Jesus shared with us.  As a church, we have agreed to pursuing 4 specific practices in order to grow in our faith and pursue the Lord's will for our lives. Would you be willing to partner with us on these goals?

Gather together

God never intends for us to go it alone, but instead He provides a community of believers to help support one another, lift one another up, and bear one another's burdens. When we gather with other believers for the purpose of worship, we are reminded of what God has done for us throughout our lives, and we get opportunities to see how He is moving in us today. We also have the opportunity to put into practice what we've learned, as we live out Jesus' "one another" commands each week.

Here at Grace, we believe that disciples grow best when we regularly gather to worship the Lord together, both on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Our weekly worship service begins at 10:30am each Sunday, and is open to anyone who would like to attend, regardless of faith journey or denominational affiliation. There are also multiple small groups that are currently running at Grace, offering prayer and support for one another throughout the week.

Grow Together

Jesus calls each one of us to receive His teachings, to abide in Him as a branch off the vine, ultimately growing to bear fruit as a result of His presence in our lives. Here at Grace, we are committed to growing to be more like Christ, to love as He loves us. Spiritual growth is not something that happens automatically; rather, it's something that requires us to be intentional in learning to follow Him, through studying His word and putting it into practice through spiritual disciplines.

Through each of our ministries, we at Grace seek to see people come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, and from there grow in the Spirit to be more like Him. We believe that this is done both individually, and as a community. We're seeking to go deeper in the Word in both our communal worship and in our small groups; we want to see each each disciple in our family submitting more of their life to Jesus, being equipped and trained to do the work of the ministry.

Give Together

At Grace, we believe disciples need opportunities to give of themselves, and share what God has done for them, through the spiritual gifts He has given them.

We believe that giving is an essential component of our walk with Jesus. We are called by Him to give of ourselves in pursuit of the kingdom, to be willing to part with our time, our talents, and our treasures to serve others and advance the cause of the gospel. Through the act of giving, the Spirit works in us to make us more like Jesus, who Himself came as a servant to seek and to save.

We are excited at Grace to see most of our families and attendee regularly serving together as a church family in our various ministries and small groups. A number of families affiliated with Grace are also active in our youth group, which meets Wednesdays at 7pm during the school year. There are so many incredible opportunities to get involved at Grace and grow, whether serving upfront on one of our worship or welcome teams, by working behind the scenes as part of our tech crew or maintenance team. Where have you been called to serve?

Go Together

The great commission doesn't just tell us to stay inside the doors of our church and invite those passing by inside; rather we are called to go out into our community and share the good news with all that will hear. We are challenged to join together with Jesus as He brings the gospel to new people and new communities both near and far from us.

Our church family is committed to going out into our community, sharing the truth of the gospel in Word and deed. We seek to build bridges in our respective circles of influence, sharing the gospel with people in our everyday lives, as well as partnering with local organizations and other churches to make the biggest impact on the city of Fremont and beyond. One powerful way we do that is through serving a community-wide Thanksgiving dinner each year, which is free and open to anyone who would like a meal and good fellowship on Thanksgiving Day. Additionally, we partner with ministries like CROP Walk and Rooms of Refuge to help those most in need in our county. We also support ministries that are making disciples farther away, in both Togo, Africa, as well as in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
